Remember, the pilot episode was a prototype - and was probably picked over by everyone at network, studio, marketing, etc. Now you have to discern what it was that worked so well in the pilot - and it may not have been solely the parts you were able to dictate and control - and turn them into a reproducible result. You also have to figure out the things that didn't work - a task that requires a certain amount of honesty and self-reflection - and then articulate to your writers and you crew how you want them fixed.",
