      "text": "NTM is a group of >200 species of mycobacteria commonly found in water and soil; unlike tuberculosis, not transmitted person-to-person. Epetarborole is being developed for the most common type of NTM, Mycobacterium avium complex (MAC). MAC causes ~80% of cases of NTM lung disease. Symptoms similar to those associated with other chronic respiratory diseases. Causes chronic infection that progresses to fibrosis, permanent lung damage and respiratory failure. Women and 65+ age group most affected. 5-year mortality rate between 10-48%.",
