Our long-term approach of serving the interests of our customers, distribution partners, employees, and communities has enabled us to generate superior financial performance for our shareholders. We have benchmarked our disclosures against MSCI ESG Rating benchmarks, derived from “The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”.\n\nAn MSCI ESG Rating is designed to measure a company’s resilience to long-term, industry material environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks. They use a rules-based methodology to identify industry leaders and laggards according to their exposure to ESG risks and how well they manage those risks relative to peers. ESG ratings range from leader (AAA, AA), average (A, BBB, BB) to laggard (B, CCC). They also rate equity and fixed income securities, loans, mutual funds, ETFs and countries.",
