      "text": "Similar to polyurethane-based chemistries, both epoxy resins and curing agents are liquids, and are colloquially referred to as components. Epoxy Resin can be both a commodity – the most common is base liquid resin (“BLR”) – or can also be a specialty, such as resins sold into the highly-specified aerospace end market. Curing Agent is used to harden the epoxy resin, so that it turns from a liquid into a solid – the type of curing agent used determines how quickly an epoxy resin hardens and the degree of hardness. An epoxy formulation is the combination of an epoxy resin and a curing agent, also referred to as a system. Epoxy formulations can be used to create lightweight airplane and automotive parts, as an incredibly strong adhesive to bond metal components, or even as a protective coating for furniture, flooring, and infrastructure. Huntsman sells both components and systems.",
