While Di Ricco got a sentence of only probation, he got into more trouble when his probation officer demanded he repay some loans as a condition of his probation. Being short of cash, Di Ricco had stock in a public company, Audre, Inc, which had increased from pennies per share to over $6 per share. The problem was that Audre was thinly traded.
