Image B (far right) shows the persistence of compression injury post-transplant, as the latticed indentations are visible on a CT scan of the recipient. The couple of papers on the topic attempt to downplay its significance, but are dated and prior to wider adoption of perfusion – in contrast to current color from the TransMedics ex-surgeon, and other surgeons whom we shortly detail, which indicated the seriousness of the issue.",
