      "text": "It is unrealistic for parents to discern fluid retention before it is too late – thus, we think tragedy will ensue as long as VYKAT XR remains on market. PWS patients typically present with severe obesity – if they have hyperphagia they will over-eat. The obesity is indistinguishable from edema – parents are reporting kids putting on 10-15 lbs of fluid in a week. One of the patients we think was hospitalized for potential heart failure is bottom left; the other two PWS profiles are from Wikipedia. What you see below is obesity, not edema which is rare in PWS – but who can tell? Fluid retention can tip into pulmonary crisis rapidly – a parent from the opening pages: “started with wheezing hard to breathe...then just boom...man I want my son here with me...”",
