We smelled a rat and began our research 2 weeks later. We first spoke with one of the most published and influential authorities in the field, who played a key role in Soleno’s trials as a trial investigator and co-author – we sensed a safety debacle right around the corner, as did the investigator. As our investigation intensified over the next few months, we did not realize that kids were already beginning to drop like flies - and that an 11-year-old was struggling in the hospital for 7 weeks during that time, right underneath our noses, per a parent’s Facebook post on July 28. Thankfully, he made it. Others may not. Thus, we think the unfolding situation requires urgent FDA intervention and media scrutiny.",
