We did two research calls with a former longtime procurement executive at TSMC, who first brought Lasertec into TSMC; the second call was after he checked with current colleagues there for recent color. He chuckled when stating that the “new” ACTIS A300 EUV system failed their evaluation, which we confirmed with a total of four TSMC sources; was blunt in stating that “TSMC will not consider the A300 or A150 for production”; and stated “no, unfortunately, no” when asked if TSMC is still buying Lasertec's EUV tools.",
