      "text": "Rock weathering has been happening for millions of years and is a well-understood natural carbon removal process. UNDO speeds up this process by sourcing finely crushed basalt rock from mines and quarries, which exists as a by-product. After testing the rock, we partner with local landowners and farmers who help spread it at scale on agricultural land. As rainwater falls through the atmosphere it combines with CO2, forming a weak carbonic acid. When it hits the ground, the rainwater interacts with basalt rock, locking up the carbon dioxide as solid bicarbonate ions for 100,000+ years. Not only does basalt remove CO2, but it also delivers a range of co-benefits, such as increased crop yield.",
