This was revealed via a Freedom of Information Act request filed by a research group founded by a former research scientist at Google who leftover ethical concerns.\nAnduril's “virtual wall” aims to automate detection of migrants and traffickers along the southern border.\nUS-based competitors Shield AI (software to pilot unmanned military assets) and Rebellion Defense (AI software for the military) also raised significant capital in 2021 at or above $1B valuations: $210M Series D and >$150M Series B, respectively.",
