In 2018, the benefits of Copernicus in the downstream market are estimated to be between EUR 125 and 150 million, up from EUR 54 million in 2015 (these benefits were assessed for the 10 value chains covered in this report). They are expected to grow at a CAGR of around 15% up to 2020. The main drivers for the growth of these markets are the remaining gap between end users' specific needs for tailored products and their current offer, and the progressive adoption of EO-based solutions in some industries such as renewable energies.",
