China's domestic luxury market slowed significantly.\nMeanwhile, steep price increases without corresponding product innovation, amid diminished cultural cachet and reports of declining quality and labour exploitation, have brought into question the \"value\" — both real and perceived — of luxury goods.\nBrands can no longer rely on steep price increases. Instead, many luxury executives intend to increase sales volumes to grow their businesses — but higher volumes of production are at odds with both sustainability goals as well as luxury exclusivity.\nAmong personal luxury goods categories, leather goods and jewellery are poised for the fastest growth at 4 to 6 percent per year between 2025 and 2027. Leather goods will continue to be purchased as investment pieces, while jewellery sales will benefit from a younger and more diverse client base.",
