At PwC, we have a five-step plan for upskilling that starts with analysing the transferable skills that work today and in the future. We analyse the changing business environment to identify the scope for digital working and automation in current roles. We look at the future workforce needs and the current workforce capabilities, and we seek to clarify the cultural and behavioural challenges. This helps organisations determine their most pressing skills gaps and mismatches, the populations of employees whose roles will become redundant and the key challenges to upskill their organisation. It’s an important move in building the case for change.",
