In July 2021, these near-term emissions reduction targets were independently validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). In November 2024, the PwC network set long-term science-based targets for 2050 which were independently validated by the SBTi. These targets were established using the Absolute Contraction Approach and the commitment is in line with a 1.5-degree scenario as outlined in the Paris Agreement. Our emissions reduction targets apply to gross GHG emissions.",
