Another critical area is social media listening tools. On occasion the “noise in the system” about a certain retailer or product is unfavorable. Catching the clues on social media that a negative narrative is building can help preserve the brand story. Solutions in this area include outsourcing social media monitoring to specialized boutique firms.",
