When admitted to trade on a regulated exchange, a company must meet the specific regulatory, financial and operational requirements set by the exchange—and pass a third-party audit if challenged. To ensure this is the case, listing teams undertake substantial due diligence on new issues, such as initial public offerings (IPOs). By embedding listing criteria into tradeable instruments as digital assets, DLT and “tokenization” could improve the speed and efficiency of the IPO’s distribution.",
