Growth is 3x the projected population growth, estimated to increase about 0.4% annually. Employers consider the health and care of their employees to be an economic imperative. Consequently, they are experimenting with non-traditional approaches that shun payers and embrace primary care (subscription) and direct-to-provider (capitated) contracts. Technology will play a massive part as employers seek ways to address the needs of five generations of their workforce.
