      "text": "The Copernicus programme is the European Union's Earth Observation flagship programme. As of 2018, a total of EUR 6.5 billion has been co-invested by the European Commission and the European Space Agency. By the end of 2020, the programme is expected to represent a total of EUR 8.2 billion investments, covering the space component and the Copernicus services.\nThrough its set of components that collect data from various sources – EO satellites (the Sentinels, contributing missions) and a multitude of in-situ sensors on the ground, at sea, or in the air – Copernicus responds to the needs of European citizens in their daily lives.\nCopernicus has six thematic services (Land, Marine, Atmosphere, Climate, Emergency and Security) supporting the development of many applications. The Copernicus services process and analyse the data, integrate it with other sources, offering Geo-Information Systems (GIS) products to their users, and serving public authorities and commercial businesses.",
