ARC ejes af fem kommuner: Dragør, Frederiksberg, Hvidovre, København og Tårnby. ARC modtager og brænder affald fra ca. 600.000 indbyggere og ca. 46.000 virksomheder – forbrændingen producerer fjernvarme og el. Forbrændingskapacitet på 560-600 kton om året, men vil blive begrænset til 65-70% for at stimulere til mere genanvendelse. Anlægget er finansieret via KommuneKredit med et lån på 3,95 DKK mia.",
