      "text": "The 1,009 people who responded to our March 2014 survey come from a variety of positions and circumstances. Slightly more men than women responded: a ratio of 55% to 45%, respectively. Almost half of the respondents are from public companies, 44% are from private firms, and the rest are from government, nonprofits or other organizations. Approximately 75% come from companies with more than 1,000 employees. Twenty-six percent of respondents are new employees, 37% are experienced, and 29% are senior managers. Eight percent are executives or CEOs, of which 70% are men. Respondents under the age of 40 account for 31% of the sample, while those between 40 and 60 make up 50%, and the remainder are over 60. About 66% of respondents are married or cohabitating, while 26% are single, and 8% are widowed, separated, or divorced. Almost 30% of respondents have dependent children at home.",
