Participants said they were able, on average, to do their work 50% faster—which included the time taken to check the accuracy of the bot's output. An earlier trial, to develop code, summarize documents, transcribe calls and create an internal knowledge base, boosted productivity by a similar amount. The bank currently uses AI to make more than four million decisions daily in risk management, customer services and sales—and expects this to increase to 10 million by 2025.",
