It's a sign that the funding frenzy in developer operations is only accelerating.  Copado's tools help developers push their code into production faster and without error. The mission;; Copado CEO Ted Elliott told Insider;; is to speed and simplify the release process so developers can get home in time for dinner.  \"We're making it so that people can do their jobs in an area that no one really pays attention to;;\" Elliott said.  That said;; venture capitalists are certainly paying attention to startups in developer operations. Those businesses raised $7.4 billion in funding in 2020;; up from $6 billion the year before;; according to PitchBook data.  Insight Partners is piling on. It led Copado's latest round after leading or co-leading the previous three financings. The Series C round also had participation from SoftBank Vision Fund 2;; IBM Ventures;; Salesforce Ventures;; and others.  Copado decided to raise more money after it doubled annual recurring revenue and tripled new seven-figure sales leads in the first half of its fiscal year.
