Investment in telehealth startups has steadily ticked up over the last five years.  In the US;; startups raised $7.8 billion across 710 deals in 2019;; up from $7.3 billion the prior year;; according to Pitchbook. And health tech is the third-largest sector for venture capital investment in Europe;; attracting $4.2 billion in 2020;; according to figures from Atomico. It was also the fastest-growing segment for investment in 2020;; the same report showed;; marking heightened investor interest during the pandemic.  \"Our growth is part of the wider trend;; digital health has come of age and the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated a process that was already on the way;;\" Ada CEO Daniel Nathrath said. \"What Ada does is give people a chance 24/7 to see what's causing health issues and advice on what to do next.\"  Ada says it has more than 11 million users worldwide and has completed over 23 million assessments since its launch in 2016.
