Within 20 minutes;; Tiger Global offered them a term sheet to lead a $33 million Series B.   \"They just believed in the opportunity;;\" Nicolas said. \"They were convinced with that pitch in literally one meeting.\"   The Series B;; announced in April;; brought Chili Piper's total funding to $54 million. Other investors in the round included Base10 Partners and Gradient Ventures.   Chili Piper was founded by the couple in 2016 to help sales teams more effectively meet with prospective clients. Alina said there's an \"urgency\" when a potential customer is looking at their options. The faster you can get someone on the phone with a sales representative;; the more likely you are to convert that lead to a customer. Chili Piper's job is to make that scheduling process faster and easier. The software is used by major companies like Intuit and Spotify.  Nicolas said the company used some of the new funding to hire more engineers and marketers;; as well as to expand the platform.
