Dutch edtech startup StuDocu recently raised $50 million to help it meet its target of serving 200 million college and university students around the world.  The platform;; which allows students to upload and share their course notes;; won the new funds in a Series B round from French investment house Partech Partners.  Edtech companies are drawing record levels of investment. In the US;; startups in the sector raised over $2.2 billion;; eclipsing the $1.7 billion raised in 2019;; according to data from EdSurge. Similarly;; in the UK data firm Beauhurst has tipped the domestic industry to be worth as much as £3.4 billion ($4.7 billion) this year.  Amsterdam-based StuDocu is currently used by around 15 million students from over 2;;000 universities. Notes from the likes of Harvard;; University of Georgia;; and Southern New Hampshire University are all available on the company's platform.  The company;; which was founded by four students in 2013;; has raised funds on three different occasions to expand into the likes of the US;; Canada;; Australia and Germany.  Marnix Broer;; StuDocu's chief executive and cofounder;; said the company was now in a \"very strong position\" to accelerate its global reach.  \"Our top notch international team together with our successful and profitable business model brought us to the very healthy state we're at now;;\" he said.  \"This investment is proof that we're on the right track to complete our mission and will ramp up our steep growth trajectory.
